The petroleum oil poured at sea
constitutes a significant andalarming pollution on a total scale. Knowing that the fifth
of the production comes from the layers offshore oil rigs, of the accidents occur during
the extraction and the transport of hydrocarbons. One estimates at six million tons per
annum the quantity of hydrocarbons introduced into the oceans by the human activity what
constitutes consequently a fundamental cause of the pollution of the oceans.
