This
pollution was very studied especially in the United States where was set up a monitoring
system in a certain number of estuaries which are very exposed with this type of pollution
due toa great agricultural activity and the drainage of these agricultural zones by
hydrographic systems. The action of the pesticides can be brutal but it is generally
insidious, more especially as it has only one character subléthal.
One
demonstrated showed that more one rises in the food pyramid plus the concentration in
pesticides is high. It isadmitted that if
one finds a content of 1 ppb in water, one finds 70ppb in the total plankton but
especially in the vegetable cells.
